Kangana Ranaut on Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar case: I appreciate her courage to speak

MUMBAI: Tanushree Dutta’s shocking claims against Nana Patekar has created a stir in the usually guarded world of Bollywood. The latest ones to speak up in Tanushree’s favour are Kangana Ranaut, Koena Mitra and Payal Rohatgi.

Kangana Ranaut said on Dutta’s shocking claims , “I am not here to pass judgement. That’s neither my place nor my intention. I appreciate her courage to speak about alleged harassment that has been caused to her. It’s her and the accused’s fundamental right to speak about their experience of the same situation. Such dialogue is very healthy and it will bring about a lot of awareness.”

According to Kangana, most men in our country are pampered rotten by their mothers, to an extent that “they even lack basic etiquettes like lifting the lid before peeing”. She further stated that women need to share their stories openly to bring shame and fear among men. “Raja beta needs to be told the meaning of ‘NO’ as well.

Tanushree, who bid adieu to Bollywood long time back, has claimed on the sets of Horn Ok Please (2009), Nana misbehaved with her and when she refused to shoot Tanushree was hounded by mobs who were after her.
